This spring, ten-year-old Lower East Side spot Les Enfants Terribles closed to renovate and rebrand. In mid-July, the restaurant will reopen as an "Icelandic concept complete with a new bar and smoker in the rear for meats and fish," according to Bowery Boogie. There will be a retail store and basement lounge inside the restaurant, too. So what is Icelandic cuisine, exactly? Think smoked lamb, sheep's head, skyr (a dairy product similar to strained yogurt), and potatoes. Weird. [Bowery Boogie]
