The vaulted ceiling at the Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant got a deep cleaning last year, but the place just turned 100, after all, and needs another touch-up. As a result, portions of the iconic midtown dining room will close over the next few months, and the entire restaurant will close down altogether for what its owners promise will be a short period early next year.
