At Mario’s on Arthur Avenue — maybe you recognize it from the Sopranos episode or a few movies — Dominic Sanginito is celebrating his 50th year on the job. Sanginito picked up his very first bartending shift as a side gig for Mother’s Day weekend in 1963, and the rest, as they say, has been gravy. His customers love him, but one in particular sounds very demanding. “I have one woman,” he says. “She won’t even come in here if I’m not here. She’s been coming here for 40 years, 45 years. And if I can’t serve her, she won’t come in here.” Awww. [NYDN]
