Ryan Skeen’s tenure at the Upper East Side restaurant 83 ½, which opened in October of last year, lasted a mere four months. Owner Vincenzo Mangiafridda has brought on Will Foden, who cooked at Dante in Cambridge and Bina Osteria in Boston, to cook a menu of Italian food, including gnocchi with lamb ragu, salt cod dumplings with tomato and pepperoncino, and whole bream that’s wrapped in lemon and escarole and grilled. Former Daniel wine man Jean-Luc Le Du is still running the list in the dining room. [Earlier, Earlier, Related, Related]
