Civic Horticulture Conference Hosts Pop-Up Garden Preview on Broad Street

Remember that Pop-Up Garden we mentioned a few weeks ago that 4 Corners Management’s Avrim Hornik, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, University of the Arts and Groundswell Design Group had plans to open in the vacant lot across from the Kimmel Center? There’s going to be a preview reception for it tonight. It’s part of the weekend-long Civic Horticulture Conference that the Cultural Landscape Foundation is hosting here. It’s not free; $50 gets you in. But it will provide some of the first glimpses of the project, and offer snacks and beverages. It gets underway at 6 p.m.
