Food Trust is gearing up to kick off this season’s Night Market series Thursday, bringing its roving street food festival to Fairmount Avenue (starting near 22nd Street) for the first time. And with it will come upwards of 60 vendors ranging from the obligatory cupcakes — this time provided by Cupcake Carnivale — to more sophisticated fare from first-timers like Alla Spina and Le Bec Fin. As always, the good folks at Yards Brewing Company will have cold beers at the ready for the thirsty throngs. Over at Eastern State Penitentiary there’s going to be music, art and other entertainment, and the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts is also lined up for the non-eating and non-drinking portions of the evening.
