What to Eat and Drink on the New Lolinda Rooftop, Now Open

The rooftop at the former Medjool, which marked perhaps the first time anyone had attempted to open a bar on a roof anywhere in blustery S.F., was a consistently popular happy hour and weekend destination until it abruptly closed and changed hands last year. Now, new owner Adriano Paganini (Beretta, Delarosa, Starbelly, Super Duper) is rebranding it as El Techo de Lolinda — translation: “The roof of Lolinda” — and as we alerted you last week, the place is open as of last night with the added bonus of big glass wind screens. There’s also a new food menu, some new cocktails, and of course the traditional Medjool cocktail of choice, the mojito.

Below, the food and drinks menus. Note that the food is different than what’s on the menu at Lolinda, and comes out of a separate, upstairs kitchen.
