Blogger Wyckoffheights.org reports that two musicians named Montana Masback and Denis Bramley are converting the old gas station on the angled corner of 445 Troutman Street at the Bushwick/Ridgewood border into a new restaurant. The pair are reportedly working with Chris Katchuka and Jesse Crawford, the latter of whom was a partner of the counter service Honeychiles' pop-up at the Charleston, which had a brief but glorious run of smoked Cheddar hushpuppies, catfish po' boys, and more at the Charleston in Williamsburg between the summer of 2010 and February of 2011. Masback and Bramley say they're opening a "country-style restaurant." [Wyckoffheights.com, Earlier]
