In an interview with Big Hospitality in the aftermath of this week’s World’s 50 Best announcement, lauded English chef Heston Blumenthal says he’s been planning a version of his food-history-focused Dinner by Heston concept in New York City. “We are still working on it,” the chef says. Last fall, Blumenthal’s representatives denied he was planning a reworked version of his Knightbridge restaurant, which was at the time rumored to be opening in New York’s Mandarin Oriental hotel, telling Grub Street, “there is no news.” The chef now says he’d “love to be in New York” and is currently working out various “feasibility issues.” [Big Hospitality via Eater, Earlier]
