How the time flies. It seems like yesterday that G-Ho bistro SoWe (try saying that three times fast) first opened its doors, replacing Divan Turkish Kitchen at the corner of 22nd and Carpenter streets. Tonight the restaurant and bar is celebrating its first year in business, offering guests complimentary drafts, and tastes of bar manager Craig Steel’s new, bacon-infused adult milkshakes. And to soak up all that booze, Chef Jenn Choplin’s doling out free sliders. In addition to the standard mini beef burgers, she’s serving others comprised of pork belly, chick pea fritters, ground lamb, meatballs, chicken mole, and vegan Reuben. The fun starts at 5 p.m., and the freebies will keep coming until 8 p.m.
