If you missed Sly Fox’s annual Bockfest and Goat Races last weekend (or you’re simply dying to relive it), you’re in luck. This weekend, Johnny Brenda’s is devoting five of its tap handles to some of our local breweries’ finest bock style beers. They go on today at 4 p.m., and will be pouring throughout the weekend. With the beers, J.B.’s kitchen will be kicking out some special menu additions to compliment them. Think bratwurst (traditional and a venison variety), house-baked soft pretzels, pork schnitzel, spaetzle, and more. And if that’s not enough of a draw, they’re also hosting 2013 Champion of the Sly Fox Goat Race, Three-Legged Simon (yes, the speed-demon is really short one leg) from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
