Andaz Wall Street’s Dog-Friendly Happy Hour; Bon Appétit’s Grub Crawl

Andaz Wall Street opens its Biergarten on Tuesday, May 14. Come June, enjoy German pretzels, sausages, and beer, as well as a weekly “Bark Hour” with a special menu for dog lovers and their furry friends. The Biergarten will be open from 2:30 to 10 p.m., Tuesdays to Saturdays. [Grub Street]

• Billy Joel’s original sax player will make your happy hour much happier: Today, Pounds & Ounces celebrates its one-year anniversary by launching an early happy hour, with musician Richard Cannata and complimentary deviled eggs. • On May 22, David Chang brings fellow chefs Massimo Bottura and Daniel Patterson to the New York Public Library stage for a conversation with Cook It Raw founder Alessandro Porcelli. Mas (la grillade) launches weekend brunch service on May 18 with a menu that includes salmon pastrami with poached eggs. The restaurant will also debut a sandwich section for its lunch menu, with a short rib burger, and for dinner, a five- and seven-course tasting menu. [Grub Street]

The Chelsea Triangle French Market reopens on May 10, offering fresh and local produce, artisanal goods, and other organic specialties. It runs every Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chelsea Triangle Park on Ninth Avenue and 14th Street through November 22. [Grub Street]
