Pasadena’s The Raymond restaurant, housed in the salvaged caretaker’s residence from the long-gone Raymond Hotel, as well as its cocktail core, 1886 Bar, both shuttered their doors yesterday for a three week renovation that will see Tim Guiltinan’s kitchen get expanded. The restaurant and bar will both reopen on April 22, timing the debut of its upgrades with new cocktail and food menus, for Pasadena Restaurant Week. Missing the bar’s bottled cocktails?
