Ohana Brewing, East L.A.’s only licensed brewery which recently set up shop in Alhambra, is coming to the Friday night “Spirit Sessions” series at Monterey Park’s Spirit House tonight. There the brewery will debut a new 8.5% ABV, 95-IBU Double IPA called “Rhino’s Redemption,” brewed with the ABCs of hops (Apollo, Bravo, and Calypso) and named for the local beer blogger behind popular Beers in Paradise. Along with a solid line-up of six DJs spinning old soul and rocksteady, tonight’s release party includes complimentary Ohana glasses for the first 24 entrants along with the first chance to buy a pint at the bar. Rhino’s Redemption, which follows the lauded Rhino’s Ruin, will only be available at Spirit House and Tony’s Darts Away while supplies last. Once it’s gone, it’s gone baby, gone. 8:00 P.M. tonight at 123 S Lincoln Ave. Monterey Park. [Spirit House]
