Finally, finally, though not soon enough for this week’s glorious weather, the rooftop at the former Medjool (now Lolinda) is going to reopen. We knew this was happening eventually, and today we get word via SF Mag that it is imminent, in mid-May. The name will be El Techo de Lolinda, but our guess is people will still call it “the roof at Medjool” for a while, followed by “the roof at Lolinda.” The mojitos Medjool was known for will return, and there will be a food menu separate from Lolinda featuring Latin street food, with some Mexican influence thrown in.
