Tribeca’s 250-seat Trattoria Cinque closed last month after nearly four years in business. At the time, it was reported that Marc Forgione and partners LDV Hospitality more or less immediately planned to convert the airy, brick-walled space at 363 Greenwich Street into a restaurant called American Cut, making it the second location of Forgione’s Atlantic City–based steak house.
