Lobster & Doughnuts: What To Eat at Acadia’s Brunch, Launching Sunday

We would have assumed Acadia had brunch all along— something about the sunny, grownup dining room and the food that’s imaginative but not from modern-bizarro-land screams “That would be a nice place to take Mom on Sunday.” But in fact they have not offered it— until now. The South Loop star will kick brunch off with a $35 two-course brunch featuring favorites including its (deservedly acclaimed) burger, breakfast variations on favorite dinner courses like Deer Isle scallops and lobster, and— not to worry if you saw them in this slideshow— doughnuts from pastry chef Thomas Raquel.
