This three-day event, which runs from May 3 to 5, is worth checking out. Aside from a pop-up shop at the Wythe Hotel lobby with 200 food books and independent publications, there's also an entrepreneurial pitch competition and a coffee crawl through Brooklyn. One stand-out event is a panel on foraged food with Aska's Fredrik Berselius and professional forager Evan Strusinski and there are many others on how food relates to tech, fashion and design, modern farming, political conflict, labor, and enterprise.
