Last month we talked about the coming of Flour + Co. to a space at 1030 Hyde Street, and this week marks their official opening. As promised, the baked goods — developed by former La Boulange director of operations Emily Day — run the gamut of American classics, including cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, biscuits, muffins, coffee cakes (in a gluten-free varieties too), cookies, and pies. As Thrillist notes, there’s a daily changing egg pie as well, and from the savory end of things there’s chicken pot pie, and manchego and salami tarts and the like. To wash it all down, they’re serving Stumptown Coffee, and Day is keeping long hours from the get-go, opening bright and early at 6:30 a.m. [Thrillist, Earlier]
