1933 Group Offering One-Dollar Cocktails On Tax Day

When doing your taxes, we recommend a strong drink be always by your side to ease the sticker shock. The 1933 Group, owners of local bars like Oldfield’s, Bigfoot Lodge, and La Cuevita, plans to do thing the other way around. This Monday, April 15, the hospitality company is offering one-dollar cocktails five of their drinking destinations, concocted special for Tax Day by their bartenders. Offered from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., drinks include Thirsty Crow’s one-buck “Refund Rum Old Fashioned,” featuring whiskey, Coca-Cola, and Hot Damn liqueur, and the strawberry and basil-infused “Write-Off” at La Cuevita. Damm the Man at Bigfoot West: Whiskey, Hot Damn Liqueur, Coca-Cola on ice.

Refund Rum Old Fashioned at Thirsty Crow: Zaya Rum, bitters, and sugar.

Triangle Revolt at Oldfield’s Liquor Room: House spiced rum, Laird’s Apple Brandy, fresh lime juice, pineapple gomme syrup, Apple & Angostura Bitters.

The Write-Off at La Cuevita: Stawberry & basil infused vodka, fresh lime juice topped with soda

Tax Day Daiquiri at Bigfoot Lodge: Pyrat Rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup.
