Truffles and Caviar Quite Prevalent on Local High-End Menus

Over at the Scoop they just updated a word cloud they did a couple years back, featuring ingredients listed on all the Chronicle’s four-star restaurants in town (of which there are eight now open, with Chez Panisse temporarily closed). It looks like in place of foie gras as a luxury item, caviar and truffles make frequent appearances. Also, asparagus is everywhere right now. [Scoop, Earlier]
