First Hov, now the Red Rocker too? Seems Sammy Hagar is parting ways with Caesars Entertainment, and the bar that once bore his name on the beach in front of Bally’s in Atlantic City. And like Jay-Z’s partners in 40/40, the erstwhile Van Halen frontman is blaming November’s Hurricane Sandy. Hagar took to his website to say that he’s “regretfully been unable to come to terms with Caesars” on rebuilding Sammy Beach Bar & Grill after it was “destroyed” by the hurricane. But Caesars spokeswoman Katie Dougherty fired back, saying the bar did indeed suffer damage from the superstorm, but was not destroyed, the Courier-Post reports. In fact, they have it on track to reopen in May as Bally’s Beach Bar. The decision to do so sans Sammy, the casino and hotel says was “purely financial in nature.” But fear not rock and roll animals, workers are going gangbusters over at Resorts to get Margaritaville ready for its Memorial Day debut.
