Restaurateurs Jason and Jennifer Denton took to Facebook to announce the closing of their well-loved, fifteen-year-old ’ino on Bedford Street in the West Village, Eater New York reports. Last summer, Jason’s brother Joe left the restaurant group. No reason was given for the closure, but there’s hope yet for ‘ino’s famous truffled egg toast, that humble but awesome hollowed-out Pullman slice with a fried egg, warm fontina, and truffle-oil-dressed asparagus tips. “We hope to open a new location where we can welcome you once again,” wrote the Dentons in their farewell message.
