Graham Elliot Cooking at Son of a Gun, April 8 and 9

Chicago chef Graham Elliot, who recently said he’d like to open his own restaurant on the West Coast, will be back in L.A. next month, not just to log in some more hours on Master Chef, but to cook for two night at Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo’s Son of a Gun. On April 8 and 9, Elliot, John Slack, and Jamie Kluz, the respective sous chef and sommelier at Elliot’s eponymous restaurant, will prepare a five-course meal paired with Californian wines. The five-course tasting menu, which will be based on our local market goods and a dose of Elliot’s playful experimentation, will be priced at $100 per person, with a $40 charge for wine pairings.
