It’s shaping up to be a stellar weekend for the food and drink obsessed in Mt. Airy. Recently relaunched Goat Hollow adds brunch service to the mix this weekend, serving up Chef Adam Glickman’s breakfast-y and lunch-y grub on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A super-hearty cold-smoked Cowboy ribeye steak serve with three eggs any style; herb-fried chicken and Belgian waffles; and eggs Benedict with house-cured tasso ham are just a few th enew dishes that will be offered. Meanwhile, over on the other side of Lincoln Drive, Earth Bread + Brewery is opening up for daytime weekend service, offering house brews and flatbreads for lunchtime munching. Going forward, it will open every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
