The People’s Best New Chef Is … Brendan McGill

After a week of voting, Food & Wine announced the recipient of the People’s Best New Chef honor, who will get a place in their July Best New Chefs issue beside the editorial picks: Brendan McGill of Hitchcock on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle. Chef Dale Talde of Brooklyn’s Talde and of Top Chef Season 4 fame, won for the New York area, and SPQR’s Matt Accarrino took the regional title for California.
