Food & Wine Looking for the Best New Chefs

It's that time of year again, when Food & Wine asks readers to select their favorites among a preselected pool of 100 talented chefs (in ten regional categories) in order to designate the very best in the land. Nominees like Sarah Pliner, Jordan Kahn, and Kevin Pemoulie have accrued all kinds of impressive experience in their relatively short careers, of course, working under names like Ducasse, Keller, and Chang, but the F&W; award is for those who've run their own kitchens for five years or less — as such, the emerging talent here is a pretty spectacular thing. Finalists and the top-voted chef will appear in the magazine's July issue, and polls close March 18. [Food & Wine]
