Technological innovator that he is, Domino’s Pizza Japan president Scott K. Oelkers — the guy who previously donned a spacesuit and pledged to open an outpost on the moon — has returned with a suitably weird commercial (via Gawker) for the chain’s “collaborative app.” It allows them to bring 100 percent more of “singing synthesizer application” Hatsune Miku to the experience of eating pizza. The app even lets customers turn their pizza-box tops into a “live dancing venue” with the character front and center, who’ll stir your soul with a spirited version of “Luv4Night.” Someday, maybe, it’ll all make sense.
