Swiss-born chef Daniel Humm, who first made a name for himself in the U.S. working at Campton Place before moving to New York in 2008 and taking over at Eleven Madison Park to much acclaim, is coming back to San Francisco for an event at the JCC on April 3. It’s in conjunction with the upcoming book I Love New York: Ingredients and Recipes, on which he collaborated with Eleven Madison Park general manager Will Guidara. As you may know, Humm won the James Beard Award for Best Chef in New York City in 2010, and the restaurant now holds three Michelin stars. Humm and Guidara will be appearing in conversation with Saveur editor and Top Chef Masters judge James Oseland, and the event will also feature a book signing and a wine reception with a “special culinary treat” from Humm. Tickets are $15 to $25, and you can get them here.
