The powers that be at Brooklyn’s Community Board 4 are imposing a new rule upon the neighborhood’s bars and restaurants that requires a midnight closing time one day a week, DNAinfo reports. “We’re asking that everyone close at midnight on Sunday,” explained board district manager Nadine Whitted. To that end, not only new establishments seeking liquor licenses will be affected, but those seeking renewals are also subject to what amounts to a blue law. There’s no clear sign of any significant opposition to the new policy, so it certainly looks like the naked Roberta’s waitress picked the right time to take it all off and head outta town.
