Boogie With Chefs and Farmers at Localicious During the Good Food Festival

The Good Food Festival is coming this week with a whole host of activities, from serious workshops on how to get financing to fun chef demos, an urban farm tour and more. That’s what’s happening all day Thursday through Saturday, but we want to talk about what’s happening at night— Friday night, to be specific, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30. It’s Localicious, the local food party, with noshes and drinks from some of the best locally-focused chefs and mixologists in town, from Mark Mendez (Vera) to Susan Goss (West Town Tavern) to Sandra Holl (Floriole Cafe) and many many more, each paired with a local farmer for what they create. Besides food, there will be music by the bluegrass band Sunnyside Up, and a crowd of other good food enthusiasts. Tickets are $75 if you buy them in advance here; check out the full lineup and watch their video featuring some of the featured chefs.
