California cuisine pioneer Alice Waters is coming to UCLA next month for a lecture on nutrition with LAUSD cheiftan David Binkle and the University’s own Wendy Slusser as part of the school’s “Science and Food” class that brought David Chang and Rene Redzepi to campus last spring. On April 25, catch Waters for $25 once tickets go on sale online, while other notable food personalities in the series will include Momofuku Milk Bar pastry chef Christina Tosi chatting with Huckleberry’s Zoe Nathan in May, and Sao Paulo’s Alex Atala on April 17.
