AQ’s Fire-Driven Spinoff Gets a Name: TBD

It’s a cheeky choice, but AQ owner Matt Semmelhack tells Eater that he and chef Mark Liberman have settled on a name for their upcoming, next-door restaurant, due to open in the fall at 1077 Mission. It’s TBD. No, that’s really the name. TBD. And yes, this could turn into a ‘who’s on first’ situation. The décor is going to be more “masculine” than AQ, with a vintage summer camp feel including red oil lamps, and the menu is still up in the air. Suffice it to say, meats, fish, and veggies (and perhaps pizza?) cooked in the fire, and a lower price point than AQ. [Eater, Earlier]
