Berkeley’s got a new pizzeria on the horizon. Sports bar Sportivo, on Center and Shattuck, is shutting it’s doors on December 15th and Sliver Pizzeria will take it’s place in early 2013. According to the Facebook page, Sliver will “use the freshest and finest quality ingredients on our pizza as a means to promoting human health and empowering the fight against human trafficking around the world.” It’ll be pizza with a cause, very Berkeley indeed.
