Perhaps one of the greatest restaurant tragedies suffered in 2012 was the closing of Cafe Estelle after a fruitful five year run. Chef Marshall Green, who cultivated a loyal following with his creative culinary vision, and over-the-top brunches, chose not to renew the cafe’s lease, and was cagey about where he would surface next. Now there’s word that Green will head the kitchen at Jerry’s Bar, the divey NoLibs watering hole that’s been undergoing renovations since closing last year. Name, opening date and details of the concept remain up in the air. [Meal Ticket]
