Cocktails Tonight at Ferry Plaza; Nido Starts Dinner Service in Oakland

Ferry Building: There’s another of those fun CUESA farmers’ market cocktail events in Ferry Plaza this evening. It starts at 5:30 and you should probably purchase your $40 at the door. Details here.
Mission: Izakaya Yuzuki is celebrating their first anniversary tomorrow night by giving out free sake, beer, or shochu (one glass per customer), and half-price oysters. [Tablehopper]
Castro: Blackbird just started serving Bar Jars, the jarred foodstuffs from former 15 Romolo chef Larry Piaskowy that he’s marketing to bars that don’t serve food. Offerings include smoked trout dip, chicken liver mousse, and fava bean hummus, and they come with crackers. [Eater]
Oakland: Nido, a new Mexican place near Jack London Square, just recently began dinner service. [KQED]
