This Saturday, civic-minded, screen-print publisher Ryan Graeff, the main force behind Restitution Press, is paying homage to some of Los Angeles’ greatest taco providers with an art show called “Restitution Taco” at Abbot-Kinney’s C.A.V.E. Gallery.

Tapping L.A. Taco’s seven-year-old library of photos featuring legendary local taquerias, Mexican restaurants, and taco trucks, Graeff’s solo show exhibits his electric screen-printing and paint process in multilayered, chromatic murals mixing iconic L.A. street scenes, saturated colors, and hand-lettering. The show opens on November 17, with tacos sold on site by Vernon’s No-Que-No and will be on display through December 9, with a limited-edition ‘zine accompanying the exhbition. An after-party starts at 9:00 P.M. at Venice’s Del Monte Speakeasy with a special guest D.J.

“Restitution Taco” Opening Reception, Saturday, 7:00 P.M. at C.A.V.E. Gallery, 1108 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Venice; 310-450-6960.
