Steak and burlesque both sizzle and sear, so it’s fitting that BR Guest’s newest franchise Strip House will open in midtown near Times Square next Wednesday. The restaurant will be dinner only through the weekend and will start serving lunch on Monday, October 22. While John Schenk will be corporate executive chef for all the Strip Houses, Michael Vignola will man the broiler at the 44th Street outpost. The space consists of two levels — 120 seats on the main floor and 85 on the mezzanine, which can be used for private dining. Like the 12th Street flagship, there are red walls and vintage pictures of burlesque performers wherever there aren’t grill marks.
