Say It Ain’t So: Pub & Kitchen Eighty-Sixes the Churchill Burger

That all-beef bummer brewing over at Pub & Kitchen that we alluded to back in August finally materialized today with the rollout of the Rittenhouse haunt’s new fall menu. Missing from it is the much cherished and adored Churchill burger. The rich, marrow-slathered, custom LaFrieda dry-aged blend patty and all its accoutrements have been nixed. In it’s place is the more simply named “Burger.” But don’t let the lack of pomp and circumstance fool you. It’s made with a custom Creekstone Farms ground beef blend that’s topped with double-cut bacon, pickled onions, and Shropshire blue cheese. It’s on now, as is the rest of Chef Jonathan Adams’ new menu. Keep reading to see the whole thing.
