Reopenings

Picholine Reopens Tonight

When chef and owner Terrence Brennan closed his twenty-year-old restaurant Picholine over the summer, he promised an overhaul of its dining room and a grand September reopening. Last month, Brennan told us that the restaurant owed back rent, a co-owner was leaving the business, and the renovations were dragging on, which, of course led to speculation the restaurant had served its last New American plate of tuna bacon with truffle toast. Fear not: The redesign has been scuttled in favor of a crisp new coat of paint, and the Upper West Side restaurant will reopen tonight. [NYT, Earlier]
