A recall that started with Trader Joe’s Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter has expanded to other retail outlets, including Whole Foods, and has broadened in scope to include tahini, almond butter, and cashew butter manufactured by Sunland Inc. A salmonella outbreak affecting 30 people in nineteen states has been linked to the New Mexico-based producer, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says, so the recall now includes all products manufactured with the same equipment used to make the peanut butter.
