South Pasadena, despite being sued by SoCal Mobile Vendors Association, is still not convinced food trucks are good for the community. While rest of Los Angeles is busy lining up for streeet food, it seems the well-known NIMBYs are intent on keeping truck activity, as well as the 710 extension, out of their city. Despite the success of truck participation at the South Pasadena farmers market, a popular soda fountain’s owner claims the truckers “pose a danger to her customers.” In this case, we’re a bit glad SCMFVA is so sue happy.
