Lobster alert: 26-year-old South San Francisco wholesaler New England Lobster has relocated operations to Burlingame and opened a retail market and restaurant in the process. As Eater notes, the market — which sells everything from live Maine lobsters to Dungeness crab, to dry-pack Atlantic sea scallops, all at prices that several Yelpers think are amazing — has been open for about a month, and the restaurant portion opens next Tuesday. They’ll be serving lobster rolls, obviously, as well as Dungeness crab sandwiches, lobster corn chowder, and more. And they have a nice outdoor seating area. You should know, though, that you don’t have to go all that way for their lobster roll, because they’re keeping their lunch trailer open at 170 Mitchell Avenue in South S.F., Tuesday to Saturday, 11 to 3.

New England Lobster - 824 Cowan Road, Burlingame - 650-873-9000 - Market hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
