Some American upstarts are betting that the fat, rice-and-bean-filled Mission-style burrito is going to be a hit in India, and this week they’re opening the first location of a new chain called California Burrito in Bangalore. They’re serving a variety of vegetarian options, as well as barbecue kitchen, all spicier than American versions, and they’ve flown in an unnamed chef from S.F.’s Mission district to consult.
