Last week Mark Bittman dropped that doozy of a piece about farming in the Central Valley for the NYT Mag, and today he brings us some more photos, outtakes, and many a parenthesis from his trip. He admits he’s “a California-phile,” but that in the Central Valley, “you have to be interested in what’s there to find it interesting.” Most remarkably, he made the entire road trip without ever eating any fast food!
