House of Pies, the 40-year-old pastry maker from Los Feliz, is seeking to take over the blank space that has long sat at the intersection of Lincoln and Venice Blvd. Yo! Venice! announces that the beach side city’s Neighborhood Council Land Use and Planning Committee is meeting this week with the developers proposing Pie’s takeover, with images of an angular modern building designed by Venice’s own COSCIA DAY architecture and design firm. The 24/7 restaurant would seat 116 guests in its futuristic new guise, with a full bar and possibly even a pizza oven for an expanded menu. [Yo! Venice!]
