It’s no secret that LAUSD students favor Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to farmers market menus, to the degree that Pasadena schools are instituting Bloombergian bans on the snack. Teachers are increasingly playing the part of the food police, confiscating bags of this corn-based hot stuff when kids are caught (literally) red-handed, potentially setting the stage for junior high riots and, if we know our corporations like we think we do, some sort of likely lawsuit from the folks at Frito-Lay.
