A new little vegan Ethiopian spot opened last week among the stalls at 331 Cortland, and it’s called Eji’s Ethiopian. It’s a business run by La Cocina alum Eji Atlaw, who took over the space recently vacated by Big Dipper Baby Food. All of Atlaw’s dishes are vegan, and include stuff like red lentils, yellow lentils with turmeric, and split yellow peas with turmeric and spices. Eji’s is open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed Thursdays. [Facebook, Eater]
