Governor Andrew Cuomo wants us all to drink more New York State-produced, beer, wine, cider, and presumably hooch with some form of “Brooklyn” in the name. He’s declared he wants to put state alcohol production “on steroids” in order to create jobs and boost the economy. Yesterday he met with producers for the Wine, Beer and Spirits Summit, which was kind of like that yogurt summit, only everyone was a lot jollier. [NYP, YNN Hudson Valley, DI]
