Chateau Montelena Barrel Tasting on Union Square; Trick Dog Coming Along; and More

Union Square: They’re doing barrel tasting all month long at Chateau Montelena’s tasting room off the lobby at the St. Francis. [Grub Street]
Mission: Trick Dog, the delayed bar project from the Bon Vivants that’s going in next to Salumeria and Central Kitchen, is coming along, and they’ve been posting some plywood-y photos on Facebook. The word on the opening remains just “soon.” Also, there’s a whole “greening” project happening along 20th Street, sponsored in part by the owners of Central Kitchen and Flour + Water. Hayes Valley: Regarding the newish Nosa Ria Market at 500 Laguna, where you can find all your jamon and Spanish product needs. [Chow]
Western Addition: An almost 30-year-old produce market at Divisadero and Page is closing. [Haighteration]
Oakland: Tanya Holland’s B-Side BBQ has a new cocktail menu, featuring house-made syrups.
